Our passion for animals has shaped our home and business, allowing us to create a loving and safe environment for your furry friends. Coming from a family deeply rooted in animal care, we are thrilled to turn our lifelong love for animals into our profession.
Our Story
Our journey in pet care began long before Pets At Their Best. We have cared for a variety of pets, including goldfish, hamsters, guinea pigs, chinchillas, goats, intelligent rats, amazing cats, and many beloved family dogs. Currently, we are proud pet parents to 7 Kune-Kune pigs, chickens, a rescued mouse, and of course, our cherished family dogs.

Rachel, our founder, spent a decade (2002-2012) honing her skills in a large kennel, cattery, and professional grooming parlour. Working with experienced groomers and animal lovers, she gained invaluable knowledge and experience. In 2012, Rachel launched Pets at Their Best as a dog grooming parlour, and due to growing demand, we expanded to offer all services that could be required by our canine family members through our trusted client suggestions.

Our team now includes a diverse group of dedicated groomers, bathers, walkers, and animal enthusiasts, all committed to providing top-notch enrichment and care for your four-legged family members. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality services, including dog grooming, dog walking, dog group play sessions and dog boarding/holiday care.
